her so close.
The work is like a desert,
She is like a pure stream
with sweet water.
She is a world where flowers
bloom unrestrained.
She just wants love,
How can her innocent heart
ask for something else?
He is calculating the distances
of stars from the earth,
And she knows all the stars
in this universe are in her heart.
He is working on ideas,
while she spreads her arms,
in the touch of which,
all ideas reach their meanings.
She doesn't understand him,
but, then, when is love understood?
And does he understand her?
She just wants to dissolve in him
like sugar dissolves in milk,
Does it do anything to the milk,
other than making it sweeter?
Can he just not continue
with his work, and still contain
her sweet shadow spread on
all the pores of his being?
Yes, it will happen -
It is for the meeting of
truth and love, that all
of this world is arranged...

अनोखा मिलन...

जब खुशियाँ और गम
आपस में लिपटते हैं,
जब परमात्मा के ये दो बच्चे
आलिंगन करते हैं,
तभी तो आँखें प्रेम से भर आती हैं...

खुशियाँ और गम
वे दो बिछड़े प्रेमी हैं,
जो एक दूसरे के बिना अधूरे हैं,
और जैसे दुनिया प्रेमियों को मिलने नहीं
देती, वैसे ही इन दोनों के बीच में
भी सीमाएँ बना दी गयी हैं...

परमात्मा ने तो चाहा था
के ये दो ऐसे मिलें,
जैसे प्रकृति में प्रेम घुला मिला
है, के दोनों के संगीत से सब
खिल जाए...

हाँ, पर किन्ही हृदयों में,
किन्ही क्षणों में, वे अब भी मिलते हैं,
बस फिर तब उस मिलन को
परमात्मा भी टकटकी लगा
कर देखता है...
